Ruben Contreras Jr., from Rio Rancho New Mexico graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Cosmetology in 2006. In 2008, he moved to Scottsdale Arizona as a Salon Manager where he honed in on his skills of providing top tier guest experiences. 

Wanting more growth opportunities, Ruben found himself moving to San Diego in 2017 to work for a local Aveda Concept Salon, standing out as an Elite Stylist and Aveda Brand Ambassador.

He is excited for this new turn in his career while staying true to his love of Coronado.  

Ruben is a true PRO. From the haircut to the experience, and the way he makes each guest feel, we are so happy to have him in our Salon On First family!
