I have been going to Salon on First for about 18 months now, as my previous stylist retired. My stylist at Salon on First is Rebekkah Hower Dinsmore, and she is terrific! The other stylists at the salon appear to be busy, which I take to mean they are also great! The salon is always very clean, and they sell great personal grooming products. The atmosphere is relaxing and positive.

If you're coming from downtown like I was I highly recommend taking the ferry to Coronado it's very walkable and a lovely trip. They do walk-ins as well as appointments. Breezy open atmosphere, comfortable and clean. I went in for a basic haircut with Juan, booked online. He did do a mask treatment which really improved the texture of my hair. Got me in and out quickly, and my haircut was literally perfect. Would definitely recommend Juan and Salon on First.
