- Mona’s passion for doing hair began at the age of six, when she would spend hours styling her Barbie dolls’ hair.
- At her first salon job, Mona gained extensive experience as a barber during her first four years.
- Originally from Baja Mexico, Mona moved near Fresno, CA, where she became a cosmetologist and practiced for 20 years. Recently, she relocated to San Diego to be closer to her family.
- Mona is passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, practicing yoga and mobility stretching. She even taught a class before her move.
- Mona loves being surrounded by nature and finds sunrises and sunsets to be the most beautiful things
